So I kind of decided Kino would have "boss level" awareness of her surroundings in Metal Gear terms given the crazy, crazy things she manages to do in canon in spite of being a pretty tiny girl.

... Basically it made sense for her to notice that there was someone getting smacked around nearby and also seemed like a good way to get Big Boss into things before we reach the train cars. ^^;
