Interacting With; Tara Niklos [@Kaithas]

Roze had to say, she was somewhat pleasantly surprised at Tara's response. Usually, the 'meathead' comment worked pretty well to dissuade bullies from targeting her. She'd used it all of her life; if that didn't get rid of them, additional insults would end up with the mentioned bullies going to find a new target. Because of her young looks and fairly small stature, Roze had been targeted plenty of times in her life; however, she'd quickly learnt that most bullies didn't want to pick on someone who could stick up for themselves from the word go. Clearly, this Tara wasn't a bully. (Although, it would be fair to assume she was, what with her more than violent entrance and insulting introduction to herself and Dallas.) Which meant that Roze could react in a more measured manner. Although the comments regarding parents stung a little bit (What with a dead Mother and Poseidon winning the Sucky-dad-of-the-Year award; not that she was going to start whining about that. That was not something to use as an excuse to stop arguing.), she couldn't help but crack a smile at Tara's patronizing tone, and the additional ABBA song, which was a nice touch. That kinda made her annoyance at the additional 'little-girl' quips evaporate. Holding her hands in the air, palms facing Tara in defeat, Roze gave the girl a disarming smile. "Alright, you win." She chuckled. "I'm not looking to get into an argument with you; I was just sticking up for myself." She said, then hesitated, swiftly retracting her hands from the air and folding them across her chest, realizing that her scars had just been on full view. "I kinda have to stick up for myself a lot. As you so wittily observed, I'm not the oldest gal here." She said, then paused once again, smile growing. "On the other hand, I'm also not the shortest, which is a pleasant change for me." Tara smirked slightly. So the tiny tang could give as well as take. "Shortness means a low center of gravity. All the better to knock your infantile block off." If Tara's eyes caught the scars, nothing more than a slight flicker in her pupils would have indicated any kind of recognition--and her glare constantly glimmered with anger. "Hey, why do you think I'm retreating? I'm not interested in... well, in acting like those idiots there." Roze retorted, eyes going to look at the whole predicament occurring between the Zeus kids and the other couple. From what she could tell, Zeke was a guy who didn't realize he was firmly in the friendzone and had lashed out like a hormonal pre-teen because of it, and his sister was just a huge bitch, who obviously relished at humiliating and insulting others. Those were the kind of bullies Roze had had to deal with - and she had a pretty good feeling that they would be clashing some time during term. They were both daughters of the Big Three, at the very least. "How about we start over? I'm Roze, and I apologize. Clearly I assumed the worst about you, which was... pretty unfair, but what with that *fantastic* entrance of yours, it was expected." Roze continued, eyes going back to the angry girl before her. She did seem a little less pissed off... Peter silently commended the guy for getting in between them, but Peter had been tempted himself. Hell, he didn't even know these girls, but he could tell what blondie was saying was way over the top. There was a little hellion if ever he saw one. Despite losing Cori pretty much straight away, he deduced that she had probably gone back outside for some reason. Grabbing a cool beer from the cooler and pouring out some wine (They had it in bottles- he was expecting boxed. Suppose being a Demi-God does have it's advantages.), he headed back to the front door when a familiar and beautiful piece of music drifted to his ears. Despite being much quieter than the pumping music of the party, he could hear it perfectly. Claire de Lune. Debussy. Not particularly a personal favourite, but he admired great works like that all the same. Peter caught the tail end of the conversation outside as he stepped out, following the music. "You got the right place." Peter addressed the new, casually-dressed blonde, angry Zeus blonde inbetween them. "I'm afraid to say the drama is over, unless you choose to follow this one outside." He added in a chuckle, glancing at Stella, not particularly caring if he irritated the fuming girl further. Walking past the two girls, he noticed a chain just concealed under the second girl's sweatshirt. The music was way too pure to have been coming from a phone - it always made it sound tinny or created echoes. That meant a music box. No-one carried music boxes around with them, so it must be concealed. Ergo, locket music box. Rare and beautiful sights, these things were, but he'd seen enough to know they existed. "Nice necklace by the way. Debussy was a wonderful composer." He said with a grin before continuing on his way outside.
