I'd be fine with this sort of thing myself. We'd be hard pressed to make traversing a countryside interesting.

I'd personally say just gove a rough synopsis and then detail out the important bits of the journey so that you can also initiate the next 'chapter', so that your 'turn' isn't solely for saying 'we got on horses and rode towards x' y'know?
