So first off that magic trait doesn't really work out for a few reasons. ^^; Firstly, they run in a family as well. Of course, they don't appear every generation like affinities, but the family would know about it, and would know it's there from birth. In addition, having so much mana it pours out of you is, well... first off the levels you'd need to have that happen would have to exceed basically having infinite access to mana. You'd have to go beyond instant replenishing and enter a point where you are getting so much mana that your body can no longer contain it and it begins pouring out of your body. This is extremely relevant to an established character in the setting and is not a thing just anyone can do. ^^; In order to even reach that you'd have to enter some pretty weird criteria.

Then, um, I'm not to sure about having someone who can destroy magic items and basically no-sell any magic without having to cast a spell or anything at all honestly. ^^;

... Also this is a bit more nitpicky but for an urban fantasy setting that armor is extremely noticeable. ^^;
