With that settled, he took a moment to relax as he listened to Akane speak with her shadow. Yet another aspect of a person he knew that he didn't know... Well, some of the people they rescued before he didn't know, but he began to think... Does everyone have something like this within them? He put his sword away and readied himself, any moment now she was going to collapse from exhaustion like everyone before, and then there it was. Rui was easily in position to catch her from falling. He turned to everyone else.

[color=royalblue]"Good work, good work... I must say, impressive work"[/color], Kazuki seemed pleased, although... Well, the way he was about it didn't seem to be all that sincere. He wasn't sure why.

[color=aba000]"Yeah, I haven't turned up anything good in my investigation yet, so there's not much to do just yet..."[/color], with this agreed, everyone headed home after they admitted Akane to the hospital. Looks like they just had to keep doing their thing for now, what with no new leads after today. They might ask Akane if she had anything to say though, but so far the people they've rescued haven't exactly given the most helpful information...
