But I knew who Mike was, Who Derik's father is and I could tell Derik about his father without having to be scared that he would not understand it. Derik has been coming to me after every journey for hugs.. And when I returned form the Eagle kingdom, he asked me why the town people's children also have a man hugging them and he doesn't. If you had just kept the normal time line, I would have been sad and felt empty for a while... But I would have known why'' she said. ''I understand that what you all did was because you love me and you wanna save me the hurt.. But isn't it true that broken hearts, bad choices and feeling hurt makes you exactly that what you need to be?'' Elsbeth asked. Just before the big fight.. And I wanna be able to tell Mike that I love him, that I care for him and that I want him to know that he will never be unknown'' she said.
