Aquamarine lightly flinched at a hand being placed on her shoulder, not having heard anyone approaching nor had she truly wanted anyone too so it came as a surprise to her. She should have known better,with an explosion like that of course someone would have come to investigate but she had truly just wanted to be alone and to be weak even just for a moment to let out her grief from past and present. The young gems had distracted her from the pain of the past but Howlite had dragged it all back and Mars hadn't helped with her feelings of that day either. She hadn't planned to look at the other person with her but when she heard his voice, she couldn't help but feel a jump of happiness even if he was once again asking about someone else in concern and not herself. 

Aqua slowly turned, tears still gathering and this time she didn't care if Blood saw her this way. She wanted to answer his question but she wasn't sure she could find her voice at the moment to do so even if she tried and this time it had nothing to do with her upset but everything to do with him. Blood was sitting before her in the dirt and what more, she could feel his arm around her. If she had a normal human body, her heart would have started to race and even worse she felt like she was home after being away for far too long being close to him like this, having him be concerned for her. Aquamarine couldn't help but give in a bit to the feelings she once had, the ones she had tried to bury and be rid of. The ones that got harmed by betrayal and heartbreak but still wouldn't leave. 

She still didn't speak, instead she slowly wrapped her free arm around him, fingers clinging to his clothes like a life line as snuggled closer to Blood and rested her forehead in his shoulder. Aquamarine sat for a second before nodding gently and finally speaking in a soft whisper,[color=7bcdc8]"We will both be alright with time..."[/color]She hesitated, thinking of wither to speak again but decided that just for now that she would try and so she whispered once more, [color=7bcdc8]"Just for this moment...Can we just be you and me? Not enemies..."[/color]
