It may or may not split the party [i]if[/i] things are mended and the [i]actual[/i] reason explained. I do not think anyone is bound to agree to fighting a dragon, short of Siegfried, on heroic commendations alone. I just think it was the most fitting time and way to wedge the plot in on the hope that this will continue as you likely intended.

As for smoothing over... I do not think The Red and Roanoke are likely to be friends after that, hah.
