All right, I can't take it anymore. I've seen all the episodes, I've searched the web for all the trivia and fan theories. I need a Rick and Morty roleplay. Specifically, I need someone to play Rick. Or a Rick. The nice thing about this show is the characters can be taken way out of character, and still be perfectly in character. Infinite alter realities are pretty damn cool. I do have a few ideas. They're bound to turn into something a little more heartfelt than I intend, but I think emotion fits pretty well in this show. - Following the events of "Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind," a Rick finds that he's in need of a replacement Morty. Unfortunately for him, the majority of available Mortys are ones seized from Evil Rick's lair. Abandoned and tortured for his brain waves, one particular Morty is going to get a second chance at having adventures with Rick. He's not his Rick. He's not his Morty. But every Rick needs a Morty, and vice versa, so they're just gonna have to deal with it. (Said Rick can also be Doofus Rick, who for some reason needs a new Morty.) - I've been thinking that it might be interesting to swap Rick and Morty's basic characteristics around. Something to the extent of playing a "Rickest Morty" and "Mortiest Rick." This can mean just switching their personalities, where Morty is the confident douchbag, and Rick is good-natured. Or making Morty the scientist, and Rick the sidekick. Anything like that. - It'd also be interesting to completely rewrite their backgrounds. What if Rick never left his wife and Beth? What if Morty was put up for adoption, or orphaned? What if Rick was his only family? What if Rick didn't crash into Morty's life until he was a young adult? There are so many things that could have gone differently! Brainstorming for other ideas is definitely on the table, so don't be afraid to make suggestions.
- First and foremost, I need someone with patience. I do have a job and other things in my life, so I can't always reply in a timely fashion. I try for a post a day or more, but shit happens. Let's just be patient with each other, yeah? - I really would prefer someone eighteen or over. Roleplaying with minors, especially when the plot has the potential to be full of adult themes, makes me feel uneasy. - Please have decent grammar, spelling, and general roleplay abilities. Please - This is just a hobby. Don't be a dick.
Feel free to post here or PM me! Thanks for reading!
