If he was caught in such a wire, he would simply call for help and then ponder life as we know it in the universe.
But surely Itsuko would let him down, right? She's nice enough, and is so not in any shape or form inclined to torment little Luci. I'm sure she would in no way abuse the fact that her rival's romantic interest is now trussed like a turkey and has no-one capable of helping him whatsoever bar Itsuko.
