Gideon listened intently to Jimmy's suggestion and pondered it. He saw the logic in it, since the entirely covert approaches had failed it might not be a bad strategy to go overt. But then it could also be suicidal, and under normal circumstances it would be, but they were Wizards, preparation to dive into normally suicidal situations was part of their business.

Using the monocle himself, he glimpsed upon the swirling energy of the wards, along with the internal energy from within the building. His experience as an ectomancer left him theorizing as Damien and Jade both asked about and discussed his role in the coming operation. To be polite, he curtly responded to Damien's question first.

"I could, the only question would be if the Reds have anyone watching for someone making circles around their building...speaking of which: do we know how or if the Wardens died? Did you sense any traces of Death Curses? Could they have died in such a manner as to return to this world as ghosts? That could explain the energy trickling out from within, but then making ghosts is not the preferred style of the Reds if I recall correctly, not to mention the fact that I'd be surprised if they could control and contain so many."

He sets the monocle down for some else to use if necessary.

"If they were ghosts, I could deal with them. I am an ectomancer, and I have enough ghost powder to cleanse Bachelor's Grove cemetery."
