Given that Elizabeth's predominant method of fighting is [i]punching things[/i], I imagine that her role in the entire fight largely involved being a meatshield. I'd rate that exact part as more of a draw, since neither of them actually got fatally wounded. Basically... more of a tactical retreat due to lack of support? Her skillset is not exactly conclusive to killing vampires with bonus magical abilities. That, and in the long term she got off better. :P
