Meowth said that they were going to go to the tower while in town, and there is a Pokemon Center nearby it. He then explained that they were traveling and got attacked by four people. two boys, two girls. He noted one of the girls was too young to have Pokemon, but had a Pokemon riding in her little purse.  He continued that these four constantly harass them and attack them in addition to their Pokemon.
