The last part that she drinks from multiple people. Thus, drinking from someone doesn't end up with draining them to death, nor turn them into a vampire given how the setting hasn't turned into a zombie apocalypse.

And if you didn't [i]know[/i] the effects of biting someone, why would you make a post with the assumption that it always ends in someone dying? Not that, you know, that makes all that much sense when I got accepted with a character that would've spent months at sea with a limited crew. :/
