Can infect others with its chakra, creating miniature forms of itself by shedding energy. These can eventually become full grown Fujittai by feeding off their host's negative emotions and eventually chakra, thus killing them and assimilating the darker aspects of their personality, not to mention their intelligence.

Is composed of killing intent and negative emotions imprinted upon chakra and was manifested into being from Kentari. Is bonded to Kentari via chakra rather than fuinjutsu.
