Interesting day, indeed. There was quite an assorted crowd of individuals here, and luckily he was not the only one in formal attire. It means he didn't stand out so much and not standing out right now seemed good. A rather overly excited guy approached him and introduced himself. Dwyer almost seemed happy he was here. "Nice to meet you. I'm Miles." After pausing for a moment trying to figure out which question to ask, Dwyer was gone. With Dwyer off to the next person I didn't feel like introducing myself to a bunch of people I didn't know. It wasn't that I was bad at introducing myself or getting to know people, it was just I didn't really have it in me today. A life of solitude appealed to me at the moment. There was a sizeable rock out of everyone's way. Seemed like as good of a spot as any to rest my legs. I strolled over there avoiding the group. For the moment, I will just sit and observe. One of the group took off in the woods apparently to investigate the smoke he could make out over the trees. He went alone. Confident of himself it seemed. I don't necessarily think going off by himself in the woods was the best idea. Dwyer was having a conversation with another fellow that seemed to be new, and the topic took my attention. Two years, that was a long time. So I might not be getting out of here anytime soon after all. Well, it seems like I should be a bit more proactive after all. I made my way to Dwyer. "Hi again. Look, I am a bit new here but I this place seems a little less the safe. Is there anywhere a bit less open where we could all go? I don't really feel like waiting for one of those creatures to come back and I could make this place from a couple of miles out."
