Laurel has never met her father but her mother insists that it is truly better that way so Laurel goes along with her. This gift does not work on new age weapons such as guns, it must be something that can be readily created by a blacksmith, i.e. swords, daggers, dirks, etc. Metallurgy - It is an art which Laurel gained by her fathers blood, she has a knack for building weapons and it comes much more easily to her than to any ordinary or even highly skilled blacksmiths. If she has a fire and metal she can forge and shape about anything into a high quality weapon.
