I think Xano's approach while harsh and seemingly selfish, is at least logical. You can't make medical advancements on an empty budget. So either Asami could sneak some or Xana would give her some, either way when Lin is changed, she's gonna be metal bending all over the city like a sleek badass and everyone who works under her is gonna be like "DAMN."
