He is well enough built to be muscled but isn't bulky. His hair is medium length, going down to just below his chin, curly and messy. He also has a soul patch on his chin, and a small birthmark in a short slash on his left forearm. His chin is sharp, cleft, and he has thin eyebrows, a sharp downward pointing nose and eyes that are at a slight squint. When he walks it's with a slight swagger, like the world owes him a favour. His skin is also quite tan, from how much he enjoys being out in the sun, and his hands in general carry many little scars from all the sports he does. His lips are a thin, compressed line on his rugged face, and his normal look is one of cheer and an almost blissful ignorance.
Attire:
Marcus' regular attire consists of a blank tank top, brown cargo pants and sports shoes or sneakers. Around his neck is a simple string necklace, on which is a shark tooth, seashell and a pair of customised dog tags. One tag has his basic information, blood group, religion, ID number and all that, the other has 'Marrow' engraved on one side, the other having his brother's basic information.
Personality Innate & Outward Personality:
Outwardly, Marcus is a junkie. Hyped up and energetic, his charisma is greater than his smarts, it seems. It fills the customers of the cafe he works at with much happiness and laughter. He's a bundle of laughs and jokes, and is always ready to help someone cheer up if they need to, or just plain help them if they need. He also doesn't let his powers affect the way he acts, and he will consciously make efforts to conceal the ugly side of his powers in order to make those he's around feel more at ease. It almost seems like nothing bothers him at all. Inwardly, he is troubled. Broken. His brother's death by the hands of terrorists traumatised him greatly, and the fact that he survived by way of being a freak didn't help at all. The sports, his job, his cheer and happiness just mask the depression that lies within his soul. Eventually he will make amends, perhaps forgiving himself over the loss of his brother, but anyone that catches him in a moment of quiet self-reflection will easily see the hurt he conceals. If he notices, he is quick to hide it. His common mannerisms include bad puns, jokes, occasional ribbing and a general cheery way of talking. He's that one sporty friend you have that's always asking you to go work out with him or go cycling or would you wanna go sky-diving, and you always see him riding a bike or a skateboard or roller blades to get around. When declined, he is quick to smile and say that it's okay.
Hobbies/Interests:

Extreme sports
Coffee making
Traveling

Skills/Talents:

Snowboarding
BMX biking
Roller skating
Balance
Free-running
Coffee making

Prized Possession:

His snowboard, a Burton Antler Flying V. The shark tooth was from a visit to Hawaii, the seashell from Barbados, and the dog tags were from he and his brother's time in the army.

History/Bio:
Born in Eagle-Rock to a middle income family, Marcus found himself bored with life growing up. In grade school, he grew up with a bike he inherited from his dad, and going into high school he got himself a cheap, second hand BMX and started riding around everywhere with it. At first, people criticised him for it, even his parents too, but he ignored them. He and his brother were adrenaline junkies from the moment they got their first bikes. After graduating from high school with his brother in tow, they embarked on a journey they were hoping to go on for ages: the military, only the most extreme adrenaline rush in the world. Signing on to the US army, they were immediately deployed as relief troops in run down places in the Middle East and Africa, providing food and water to displaced families from terror and violence. However, the peace they had was never meant to last. While in transit from village to village somewhere out in Iraq, their convoy was bombed by terrorists. The Rowland brothers, at the head of the convoy, were the worst hit. But where his brother perished, Marcus didn't, and for one specific reason: at the point after the bombing occurred, while the convoy was regrouping itself, Marcus discovered his powers of quick cellular regeneration and bone manipulation. Unconsciously resetting his broken skeletal structure while his body repaired itself, he was able to survive the incident, only later finding out that his brother suffered the worst fate. Broken and desolate, he returned to the States looking to lose himself in something that wouldn't remind him of his brother, but not finding any solace in quieter things, he resolved instead to pursue things that would honour him instead. Turning to extreme sports, he went back into biking, snowboarding, sky diving, all these things, while looking for a job, of course. Working in a cafe as a barista to upkeep his active lifestyle, he spent the remainder of his time up til present making coffee and going on all sorts of adventures, bringing back the local brews and beans for his job whenever he went abroad.
Relationships Family:

Art Rowland - Father; Alive
Jacky Rowland - Mother; Alive
Michael Rowland - Brother; Deceased

Dynamics:
WIP
{Cora Dubois} | {Blunt but well intentioned} | {Acquaintance} | {Character Thoughts via in-character quote} | {Character Name} | {Impression (Good/Bad/Neutral} | {Relationship (Friend, Rival, Crush, etc)} | {Character Thoughts via in-character quote} |

Abilities Power Class:
Super-System - Biological
Power:

Bone manipulation; he is able to manipulate and control the bones within his body to make them harder and more resilient. By overgrowing his bones he can, albeit painfully, make his bones punch through his flesh and mould or modify them to different forms, like blades or hooks or even armour. He is also able to fix his own injuries to his bones, like from injuries or accidents or violence. And these apply to all his bones; skull, spine, arms, legs, hips, any part of his skeletal structure. He does not have absolute fine control of the structural changes though. By picturing which bone he wants to modify, then picturing the construct he wants, it'll happen, but any fine manipulation or shaping requires more brain power and concentration that just having two pictures of what he wants and where. The changes themselves happen rather quickly; smaller modifications like spines or blades are easier and quicker to create than things like, say, shielding, armour or big heavy weapons like hammers or clubs. His bone overgrowth means that he is also able to regrow missing parts of his skeletal structure if they are damaged or destroyed. For example, he can overgrow a section of bone from, say, his forearm to create a blade, then break off the blade to use as a sword while his radius and ulna are unharmed.
Enhanced cellular regeneration; by virtue of him being able to change his skeletal structure, his flesh is also able to regenerate itself at accelerated levels to heal any wounds he inflicts upon himself. The rate of regeneration is akin to, say, Wolverine.
Dulled pain; his body's response to his powers has been to dull the pain receptors in his brain to accommodate the amounts of physical trauma he undergoes when shifting or growing his bones out. This does not extend to outside injuries however, as although he can endure his own transformations, if someone were to, say, punch him in the face it'd still hurt.

Limits:
He can only manipulate the bones in his own body, and no one else. His rate of cellular regeneration, although fast, is still slow enough that he requires at least two days to fully recover from serious or life-threatening injuries.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:

Being able to control his very skeletal structure is absolutely torturing and grevious, but thanks to his fast regeneration he almost never dies from it. The pain, however, is something he can't block out. Having fixed his own broken bones and fractures many many times over the course of his extreme sports hobbies, his sense of pain has dulled somewhat, but each and every time he manipulates his own bones, it will always hurt.
The social stigma of being a bone man is also evident; because of his slight inability to control when and where his bones overgrow, he is prone to having shards of bone sticking out of his flesh in odd places. He tries not to let it show, but most people he's around know he's a bit of a monster, and as such shy away from him slightly though remaining cordial and friendly.
Because of the amounts of abuse he goes through on a semi-regular basis, falling off bikes/onto concrete/into walls, so on and so forth, and the amounts of times he's repaired himself, his bones are naturally weaker than most regular humans. Not on the level of someone with brittle-bone syndrome, like he won't break his arm if you gently punch him on the shoulder, but if he falls he's more than guaranteed at least a fracture. More force equals more trauma that he is quick to heal up, but the longer and more he does it over the years, the weaker his skeletal structure will get. It's still solid enough to guarantee him a normal lifestyle though.

Other:
None
