There are Katana the length of shortswords. As for the spells, I can get rid of most of them but I'd rather keep all the touch spells, spider climb and magic missile. Other than that, it's up to you to say which spells he can keep and what he has to toss. As for his bow, I can make it a composite shortbow or a normal longbow if absolutely necessary.
