Surely it would be practical to athletic classes in clothes one would wear on Assassin duty? You don't change into your t-shirt and joggies (or Buruma, since this is Japan and therefore perverted) before you go stabbin'. I'm thinking suits and sunglasses would be more useful to the students than proper running clothes - get them used to the feeling of being impractically clothed, if you know what I'm getting at.
