That sounds more like a candy bowl.
When you say medieval, what specifically do you mean? (just curious, I have a friend who went ballistic when i mixed up words once and referred to a combat lance as a jousting lance. she really does do the medieval thing)
Also, would you be interested in having the loony old man be her grandpa?

@Phantomlink959 I just mean she constantly reads books and such about weapons across the world in the "dark ages" with knights, jousting, swordfights, etc. And if you're referring to your character: hell yeah. That'd give her an even better reason to be interested in weapons.

*your character tries to scare off another person in our group*
me: "Grandpaaaaaa. You didn't get abducted in '95 by aliens. It was the mental hospital trying to check your mental health. No wonder your daughter moved across the country..."

@Phantomlink959 Sorry, that was just the first thing that came to mind when thinking of "retorts to old man talking about aliens". Just exasperated in general about his "alien" theories as explanation.

@Castle Yup. Looks like an odd bunch'a coconuts! Which is great for a "most of you will 100% die. Maybe everyone."

@Phantomlink959 I apologize for stereotyping your character. Still, Cecelia will most definitely be exasperated any/every alien explanation he gives. Most likely will also begrudgingly play along with said theories.

Nah, the primary version of that character is a stereotpical badass old man vampire(sort of vampire at least. long story) hunter. It is perfectly reasonable to assume the abduction angle, as that is quite common.
Am very much pro begrudging and/or sarcastic agreement with crackpot theories.
Don't expect psychotic rambling though, super serious about it, not the excitable pushpin wall type.

@Phantomlink959 I'll do it. She will sarcastically add his crackpot theories in the list of possibilities, and even sarcastically throw in more crackpot stuff into his theories (i.e. "and I'm sure they also needed Sasquatch's help to navigate this forest, huh?")

Old man's right, we're ready to move this to OOC. I'd love it if you guys move your updated sheets to OOC though. And then when we've decided about your backstories I can start with the first post. OR I wil make a catch all post instead.
