Gren Orchid "Mainly underwater. This is of course a prototype; once I'm certain that it can work properly underwater I'll see about upgrading it for different environments such as toxic air of even vacuums." Of course there were other reasons Gren was working on this mask too. The mask itself wasn't all that important, but rather, the apparatus he's using to create breathable air is. The fact that he needs it to operate as a breathing mask is only important so he could hand it off to Shiro, since Gren typically has a face-covering helmet on in dangerous situations. Working on headgear designs was actually funny for Gren. He wasn't certain if any other hunters ever actually invested in helmets aside from him. His combat armor creates one automatically, which itself is a nice function as it allows him some extra durability on top of his aura. But his own helmet has a Heads-Up Display which allows him to monitor his aura levels, as well as the levels of his allies. It has a digital screen which will allow him to take a peep at information without using his hands, activated by voice prompts and the occasional somatic components. And of course it augments Gren's own natural Night Vision, like being able to be able to dim sudden light sources so he doesn't get stunned by bright lights. He can also discern distances and lengths between things he sees or himself, which is useful if he needs to make some calculations for leading targets. Of course he could add a few more options to them: Aura Vision being one that he was interested into looking into. A radar, perhaps linked to detecting Aura, is another. Of course he'd need it to be able to pick up Grimm too, so perhaps a Heat-Detection. However all of this doesn't come from an actual object he could make in the class; this is stuff he'd have to program into his helmet and by extension, his body and armor. "Hmm... Anyways. For the most part I'm almost finished with this mask, I just need the seal. Incidentally, that gives me plenty of time this class for just about anything else. So Sapphire, how about we do something like this: If you can find me that seal for the rebreather, I'll pitch in and assist you designing and crafting some headgear of your choosing. I can see that you've already begun working on some gloves and I'm sure you want to finish them. Once I get my seal I'll just need to test them, but I'm sure I can ask Shiro to handle testing for me while I help you with your mask." Speaking of Shiro, Gren supposed he ought to ask him what he needs help with. Gren wouldn't mind letting Shiro piggyback on his project: By being the test subject Gren figured Shiro would deserve as much credit for it's creation as Gren would. Or at least Sapphire, if she chooses to help.
