He was CIA then, so he essentially woulda done the same thing, 'cept this time he'd wipe him off of the face of the Earth and then use him as a research dummy. And when he died from the inevitable, painful radiation sickness, Hayden would have used his dead body for research. For science! And Acacia's well being! 

And dorms are either super small pieces of crap, or, and in this case, like a luxurious hotel room or super expensive, nice apartment. Cause rich people. The Hawthornes wouldn't put their children into a school if they didn't make sure that school had exquisite dorms, meals, etc. and since they made this particular school, then that's definitely true and then some.

So, a room, for the sake of interaction, would probably be two to a dorm, contain two large bathrooms, two separate bedrooms, and a highly decorated living room, etc. But all and each are customizable to the rooms bare bones. I assume they'd have it on the app to get a roommate; exact specifications would be somewhere on there and a "idgaf" option for people who just wanna get that process over with.
