It makes sense, but whether or not we have to is our choice to make. We don't need to put titles or headers for our post either, but we do so anyways for the hell of it. It may be inconvenient not to do so, but is it really worth the complaint and complication to make everyone do it? Some things make sense, like color-coding dialog, but even if you're just wanting to skim, if you have any intentions of making a post you might as well do some reading.
