[b]Short Bio:[/b] Born into the Kouga Clan, Sarangerel has led a fairly nomadic lifestyle that revolved around horses. Her family was quite large, with ten kids and Sarangerel being the fourth oldest. Her father taught Sarangerel and her six sisters how to use a sword and ride a horse so they could carry on the Kouga traditions. Around the time she was twelve, Sarangerel lost her eldest brother during a minor conflict with the Kou Empire shortly before the arrival of Aladdin. 
During the capture of the Kouga women, Sarangerel, her mother and her sisters were captured. Sarangerel was initially thought to be a boy due to her short hair until it was pointed out that her clothes matched those of the women. Her father and one brother helped free them. 
Her family was reluctant to side with the Kou due to the death of the eldest son and they took a little longer to convince than the others but ultimately they chose to follow the others. Two years ago Sarangerel left her home on the Tenzan Plateau to travel the world. She always had a dream to meet many new people and see new places. 
Six months ago Sarangerel and three others entered a dungeon in hopes of capturing it. They spent weeks, or at least it felt like weeks, within the dungeon. One was lost within the first day of being in the dungeon. The other two survived with Sarangerel and ultimately the djinn chose Sarangerel.

Sarangerel wears the traditional clothes of the Kouga Clan, although she favors the men's looser clothing over the female's clothing. Her hair is dark brown and she usually leaves it free flowing, save for a small lock of hair on the right side of her head, and pulled over one shoulder. Saran has a small v shaped scar under her left eye.
