October 6th 2017 It was 8:00am in the morning. The clock's alarm started blaring. It took Nicky 30 seconds before she finally turned her alarm off. It was time for another day of school, but she didn't really want to go. She then looked at her phone, to see if there was any Pokémon around her that she could use to train. "Seems like there is a grimer chilling in my restroom. Would be nice way to train up my team." So she rolled herself out of bed, moving to the restroom to do battle. Nicky Stormberg had become more obsessed with Pokémon then she originally planned to. She had moved to Tokyo when she first heard the news about Pokémon Go, transferring to a local college to complete her education. She was doing fine in school, until Pokémon Go came out. Her grades started to get worse and she was missing school more often in order to catch and train Pokémon. She came close to being let go due to her grades, but she was able to get by every semester. She just had to get past one more year. Then she could do whatever she so desired, which probably was playing more Pokémon Go. After she defeated the grimer, she went and got ready for the day by brushing her hair and teeth. Nicky then walked back to her room, turning the TV on to the news. "In other breaking news", the reporter said, "there have been several fires that appeared throughout Tokyo. Someone has also died due to a lightning bolt, despite no lightning storms appearing in the area. The person in question was a frequent user of Pokémon Go. It is another death in a string of many related to this game ever since it was released." "Oh please", Nicky thought to herself. She was tired of everyone trying to link Pokémon Go to the strange happenings that have been occuring all throughout Tokyo. They never happened until the game came out, but Nicky was very skeptical. Nicky believed it all had to be coincidence. I mean have can a game be causing all this phenomenon? Maybe it was a result of global warming and nature wanted to exact he revenge? To think a game could do something like this was just impossible. Nicky then turned off the TV and went outside, so she could train her team some more.
