Marcus looked over at her worriedly, noting her change and shifting his hold on Tank before following her up the steps to the porch.  When a tiny blonde thing came flying out and attacked Rin he jumped back in alarm.  Right, this must be Charlie he thought to himself.  He had heard of her briefly from Rin a short while ago.  Clearly Charlie wasn't the problem here.
He couldn't help but chuckle in amusement as the two embraced, standing back to give them space.  [i]"Girls are so sappy."[/i]  Marcus said in an undertone to Tank, looking down to where he had the pup tucked under one arm.
