I got ninja'd by a half-hour by another rigger enthusiast, but I shall humbly submit my application either way. Fair skin and blonde flowing hair, with symmetric features to further taunt her peers. She is naturally tall, and hosts a lithe build natural for elvenkind. She has opted for an equal measure of fashion and function with regards to her clothing, and wears a slim, hooded jumpsuit more often than not, or other hooded jackets when not. She wears a bandolier with large pockets during clandestine activities, as well as a heavy scarf for pulling over much of her face. Biography: Elise should have had an easy life. Born to a life of luxury in the western side of Berlin, her future had been designed before she could walk, with a cushy position waiting for her in a minor subsidiary of Saeder-Krupp when she would be ready to take up the mantle. Her doting, loving parents did everything during her childhood to shower her with material wealth, while also preparing her to become the future pride of the family. She learned how to walk, how to talk, how to smile and the importance of the corporate structure. Everything was on track for society to produce yet another detached wage-slave, when disaster struck. A traveller from the exotic and mysterious city of Seattle happened upon Elise in what was allegedly a chance encounter. With tales of fame, modelling campaigns, and unending compliments, this stranger ensorcelled Elise, who returned home with stars in her eyes and a bright idea of a future abroad. Her parents were not particularly delighted, but supported their daughter when the stranger's identity came to light. A Newsnet executive! Elise was going to be all over the Matrix and skyrocket beyond a dingy Berlin office. She'd be bringing the truth to the world! The executive's promise turned out to be half-hearted at best, something Elise learned only a few months after she'd finally settled in. She was indeed hired by NewsNet, and her looks and own wishes got her into a few commercial shoots. They trained her to stand around and look pretty, rather than do any manner of news-related thing. Excuses and sidelinings became expo booth gigs and car show modelling. She appeared as an "expert" in a talk show about orcs and gang violence, even though she knew nothing relevant to the topic. In the end, they didn't even ask her any questions that she couldn't just smile and nod to, anyway. Then came the chance. With appropriate pushing, and some aptly placed whining, Elise got her shot at reporting. Attend a trid-gala and catch the celebrities on camera. Barely instructed in how to work her camera drone, she was sent to report on the same thing everyone else does. But it was something, and that something steadily became a career for her, and Elise began to master the art of the camera. Eventually came a few interviews. Stalking famous people. Unveiling major events and dramatic happenings. It was all working towards that big promotion, and the chance to appear in one of the news rotations. Become someone. She did that as well, earning a small slot with a good team, reporting on fashion of the latest trid stars. She was a NewsNet anchor at last, even if it was niche. Then, 2064, Crash 2.0 ruined her early career. NewsNet suffered horribly, and though recoveries were attempted, it was aquired by Horizon before managing any manner of stability. While that was great for NewsNet as a company, the new management quickly decided to phase out 'Fashion Now!' in the interest of other programming, and began a company-wide reshuffling. Elise ended up despairing and disenfranchised. She turned in her resignation after a few weeks in limbo, and followed the advice of her few comrades to continue her show as a streamed service, or castings. Elise aquired what she required for her own little franchise, and set out to become a real contender in her chosen industry. Seven years after the fateful crash, and many fickle turns of fate later, Elise still provides a steady stream of content to her few but avid fans, although the content has shifted from a fashion-scandal medium to footage of clandestine meetings and recordings of very private business deals. For a while now, she has been filming less than legal activity. The camera has become her life. There must always be content. She is famous, right?
