This isn't about Ioannes, and so not something that should be primarily discovered/discussed IC, but about Giray. Basically, I'm stuck; what should be its basic ideology, as in, what reasons does it use to justify all that slavery crap? Religion is moot as Giray is multi-faith, so I'm thinking that Giray Civilians believe in personal freedom, freedom to be who you want to be as long as you don't harm anyone else/interfere with the state. I don't see how that would get them on board with the Slave System, though, if that's the case; it seems counter-intuitive.
Maybe slavery based on the idea that you want people high up who know what they are doing, so why not make sure that you can train them from birth and not allow them to switch career paths? Maybe the state believes in an individual having their own personal life, as long as they serve Giray first in body, mind and soul without question?
