Emotion's. God's take on emotions instead of materials. :P
Like the god of happiness or the god of fear. When you create a character they have an affinity for one of those gods. 
The main ones are Fear, Sadness, Greed, Anger; since misfortune god's run the world. Also god's change positions when an emotion becomes stronger, let's say hope returns to the world thus Fear will change positions, etc.
