Illiendi tilted his head at the glassy look in his charges eyes, of course, monsters and miracles always made humans look so enamoured. He'd left out the part where the sirens would drag them to the depths of underwater caves before fucking and disembowelling them, usually at the same time. Where they looked beautiful only until their songs stopped and then the ugliness is exposed. Where the sea of teeth would spin and rotate causing almost every ship that ever crossed its path to slip down into its gullet where the crew met a painful and agonising death. He left out where the dragons breath rendered people to naught but blackened, glass like bones. The boy was enthused and that was what Illiendi needed, the enthusiasm of one man was going to be where he drew his power from. "That is what you asked for is it not? The adventure of a life time, something no one had ever done, something that would make your family quiver at their very souls with wretchedness." Illiendi glanced out the window, following the gaze of his charge and allowing the boy his silence, "You like dragons huh?" He mused quietly, "Strange boy, though I wonder." If Amano liked dragons, real dragons, then perhaps the boy would be the first in an age that could handle the true appearance of the demon. Probably better that neither of them tested such so early on though. "Where will we be going next master?"
