Anyway, to those who have characters asking about the year, you can have any NPC tell them that it is about 1023 seasonal cycles (about 1023 years) since the unification of Ansus. Though as your characters will probably not know about Ansus becoming unified, this will likely confuse them. It is otherwise 61,023 years since the founding of Ansus. 

Also, do note that NPCs can be created at a whim, but NPC's can be controlled by any and all players who are involved with them. 

Also, I will of course be writing out certain environmental and event cues to help us along in the first phase of the RP. I'll be sliding these in like a sneaky monkey so watch out for things going on in your area.
