[@White Feather] I mean I dunno, I feel like applying extremes like that as a blanket mentality does way more harm than good. Targeting someone who is merely similar or related to the person who is [i]actually[/i] the target of your frustration/anger/what have you isn't "moral ambiguity". It's more like a failure to properly connect emotional ties, which isn't so much a morality thing as it is a psychological thing. The idea that "sometimes bad things need to be done" is a pretty common excuse used for horrific acts that generally result in no objectively good outcomes, but instead fulfill a selfish desire under the guise of something objectively good.
