He was at least glad at Claire and Slyeste, nor the new kid didn't mind his arrival. He knew he should have just stayed down in the Training Area. That's where people like him belong anyways, not up here with these morons. Gideon ran a massive hand through his short hair and blew out some air. Intertwining his fingers, he locked them back behind his head and leaned his neck back into them. He popped his knuckles that way before also popping his shoulders. He would choose to ignore the comment made by Griffin about Ky' Vie's arrival, as it seemed it was not that necessary, for the speak of the Devil, and she shall appear... Gideon smirked as Ky'Vie made her grand entrance and rolled his eyes at the new kid's expression when she entered. This was actually pretty normal for Ky'Vie, but it wasn't surprising that the new kid was surprised. He still had a lot to learn now that he wasn't in Camp Jupiter anymore. Shaking his head while staring at the ground, Gideon walked over to Ky and gave her a hug before backing up and saying, "Yeah, we didn't miss you that much." He stuck his tongue out at her, which was childish, but he didn't care. "It would be more plausible if you had missed us." Gideon let out a booming laugh and smiled at Ky. "I did miss your handiness with some tools though. I needed a little help with some... accidents that I had with a few of the weapons." In all truth, Gideon had missed Ky a lot because she was really the only one who seemed to accept him for who he was. Many of the other campers thought he was just a brute and only cared about fighting because he showed no mercy during competitions, but he wasn't like that at all. Not like any of them would actually stop to listen... He just shook his head clear of the thought and drew his katanas off his back and began cleaning them up again with the edge of his shirt. He heard someone yell his name from the armory and he turned around to see someone waving at him. It was probably someone who finally decided on which weapon they wanted to keep as their own. A few of the demi-gods took awhile to choose and it bugged the hell out of Gideon because he had to deal with it later on. "Excuse me," he said, with a modest dip of his head. He turned his dark eyes toward Ky. "When you get a chance, come find me. I need some work done on a few weapons. Don't do it right away. You probably want to chill out, huh?" He smiled at her before taking off down the grassy pathway toward the armory. He looked back over his shoulder toward the hill and smiled. At least one person he liked was back... The new kid he didn't know about yet... They would see in the future. Though, automatically, the kid earned points of respect from him just by offering to spar.
