Amos began the discussion without Jack. That was much like the god of valor. She smiled, glad that he hadn't changed so much. Kyra, perhaps still drunk, excused herself to an out of the way corner. Iratze didn't know that goddess so very well, she wondered if she would like some water... She spoke so softly the others might not hear. "I wish that we had reunited under different circumstances... A celebration perhaps! Rather than under the duress of war..." A smile fluttered across her lips, wistful and fleeting. Iratze knew better than that. She had been closest to Amos in war. It was through this conflict that she had been reunited with with Amare. It was only because of this conflict that Armarion revealed his feelings for her. It was even the reason she was created. Conflict. That was part of their godly nature, perhaps... She sat up. Her rainbow hair tumbling over her face in a messy fashion. "I might be able to answer your question, Amos." She straightened her back but only a little: She was too weary to be as formal as she should have been toward the greater gods. "When I spoke to Amare, your youngest brother, he said that... Brontes trapped us here to keep the mortals safe." Her brows knit together. "I... I am sorry, Amare didn't fully explain. I don't think I understand it myself. Amare only said that Brontes came to love the humans, and trapped us here to protect them from us." She hesitated to comment further. She wondered why Brontes would not have locked them up with the mortals. Perhaps the scope of his power or his spell was limited. Brontes had all the answers. Brontes was the only one who had not themselves to her. Brontes was the only she could not find. She waited for the other gods to respond, or ask more questions.
