[b]Personality:[/b] Until recently a meticulous student, Kaeryn has a tendency to see challenges where none have been issued and seize them with both hands, even though they often develop into frustration rather than the smug satisfaction she thrives on. Kaeryn has few aspirations of her own, being like many teenagers still confused about her future career path, but has well-established ideals elsewhere and will debate them thoroughly and ardently. She maintains a ready confidence that almost never gives way to arrogance, though Kaeryn's self-esteem is still far from infallible. Typically generous where she can afford to be, she does have a well established base of friends with whom she interacts enthusiastically, though she's well known to get along with adults, or function independently for long stretches of time.

[b]Interests:[/b] Kaeryn keeps herself busy with studies, both for her school and personal enjoyment of learning. She has vaguely considered pursuing a career in medical science or microbiology as her school career comes to an end, and occasionally attends open university lectures to test the waters. Her personal interests are also chiefly related to the life sciences, particularly the history of their pursuit and speculation of what might have been. Her walls are postered with art of hypothetical species and old hoaxes. She enjoys travelling to art galleries, but doesn't consider herself to have an eye for crafting anything noteworthy herself. Her determination has made her a capable boxer, and she sees no harm in spectating a good fight. She has strong views on pet ethics.

[b]History:[/b] Firstborn to a single but enormously talented mother, Kaeryn was raised to take on the world with more vigour than she could afford. After a wildly popular lower childhood, she entered high school with expectations of much of the same. Towards the halfway mark of her last year, however, a recurring lung infection has been causing her grades to dip and her boxing to discontinue. Knowing that her ability to keep up with her own burgeoning expectations of herself are deteriorating has recently caused her to sink into anxiety. Kaeryn refuses to stop trying, though she is doing herself no favours.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Moderately tall, even for a teenager, at about 170 centimetres, with a solid build- Soft enough to cuddle, but sporting more than enough muscle weight to box most other students out of the hypothetical ring. Short, dark hair is kept in a curly pixie cut. Fairly dark skin around a set of matching eyes and a pierced nose. She keeps herself neat, and is easily mistaken for an adult. Usually sports a school uniform with ornamentation coming mostly in the form of numerous bracelets, as she was doing on her last mortal day.
