Donna had awoken with a pounding headache, the rotting smell of damp hitting her nose instantly. When she had managed to open her eyes, she was greeted with the sights of old grey walls. Two square holes in the wall, obviously meant to be the windows, were barred with black steel rods, letting in the only bursts of sunlight. Donna squinted slightly as she sat up, her head still hurting. Then, she spotted a crumpled figure on the other side of the cell. "Doctor..." She barley managed to mutter as she quickly scrambled over to him, ignoring her headache. When she reached him, she saw a small pool of blood from the back wound soaking through his suit. His face was pale and he looked terrible. To make matters worse, Donna suddenly remembered hearing the crack coming from his rib-cage when the lizard had attacked him. "Oh God...Spaceman, what have they done to you?" She leaned forward, noting that he was still unconscious, and pushed some stray hair away from his clammy forehead. Suddenly, she heard what sounded like chuckling from behind her and she turned to see one of the lizard men standing behind the black steel bars that was the door. He had a smug look on his face, swirling the keys on one of his claws. "What the HELL do you think gives you the right to do this!" Donna exclaimed to the lizard, her anger overcoming her again. "Just you wait until I get out of here!" "Oh that won't be for a long time, human." The lizard replied, still smirking. "You were unlucky to choose a Time Lord as a friend, especially landing on this planet. The Time Lords were firm enemies of our race, and to find one again was off the cards, Until the Doctor showed up. He'll rot in here, the stupid old git." "Oh, just you wait till-" "Silence, human!" The lizard interrupted. "You will rot with him in here. It's better to die quickly in this place. So, you'd best get started." With a final chuckle, the lizard man walked away from the cell. Donna didn't have time to retaliate, as she suddenly heard a groan emit from behind her. She turned to see the Doctor looking directly at her, his weak eyes staring into hers. "Oh my God, Doctor!" Donna said, reaching forward and placing a soft hand behind his head. She could feel him shaking beneath him. "They've put us in some sort of prison, Doctor. One of the lizard men has the keys to our cell. He just told me that he's going to leave us here."
