They make like MC Hammer pants for dudes to wear so as long as you can keep it in check in a class full of chicks in see through leggings you'll be alright. There's this girl that is always next to me and last week I could see right through her leggings to her nice panties which read "Everybody's Invited" across the ass. I might not have even noticed had it not been brightly metallic even through her pants.

Edit: On a side note I didn't really wonder either but now I know.
