Karn sighed a little at her words, thinking for a moment as he shook his head. [color=lime]"It isn't a matter of wanting to leave. It's just a matter of enjoying my life while I can instead of worrying over the end. Death is seen as unfair, but actually its the most fairest thing of all. It does not pick and choose who dies... everyone eventually faces it. What makes it right that I avoid it, when there are so many other people who didn't get that? I'm sure, if one asks even those of Phoenix Wing, they have someone who they wanted to stay alive as well. But I'm sure... not one of them wanted the ones still alive to living worrying and dreading over their death. Same goes for me. I just want to spend my moments looking at smiling faces and be happy. Feel warm and fuzzy. If I had told you, could you really smile? You would try... and try... and try. Until it shatters your hope. Could you... after I tell you how many times I've died but been forced back to being alive? How much it hurts to sometimes even breathe? How many times I start drowning in my own blood? I don't have any will left anymore. I don't have a strong spirit."[/color] the blonde tried to explain before thinking a little as Prince was mentioned.

[color=lime]"Claire probably would have tried to help. He doesn't like breaking promises so he probably didn't tell you immediately. Or did try to but used cryptic words. I would have resigned from Phoenix Wing when it was time and just left. No drama no worry... just a goodbye. And you'd never see me again."[/color] Karn said before hearing the announcer and blinked a little.

[color=lime]"Sorry. We can talk to the Genie later. I have to go and fight."[/color] Karn said before transforming into the draconic cat and flying off.

---a few minutes later--

Karn had been quite excited for his battle and a bit nervous. He hoped he wouldn't dissapoint Phoenix Wing, but he was ready to have fun! After all, if he tried his best and had fun with it then it should be alright. That was the important thing. Humming softly as he entered the arena, wearing a frilly maid outfit with white lining. Bouncing about the arena in his excitement, he finally paused as his competitor appeared. With a bright smile, the feminine boy shook her hand energetically, emerald eyes wide with delight.

[color=lime]"Very nice to meet you Krysty! Don't worry, I'm sure both of us with have lots of fun!"[/color] Karn cheered with a bright happy smile. Despite the earlier event, he seemed to be back to his energetic happy self again.

Prince listened to Michael and gave a sigh. Humans were so complicated sometimes, or they made it that way. It was no wonder quite a few were easy targets for his kind. Mess with their emotions and take advantage of them. But he didn't say anything because that would probably just freak Michael out. [color=aqua]"I don't see you as abandoning him. You just want to help by keeping a eye on him from a distance. But perhaps I'm not the best to give advice on such a situation."[/color] the feline said with the usual happy go lucky smile, though his mind trailed off to Karn. Someone he also could do nothing for. And just simply watch.

With a soft chuckle, he held Michael, embracing him tightly. [color=aqua]"But, hugs sometimes help a little."[/color] he hummed before thinking. [color=aqua]"You know, you twins remind me of a little song I've heard. It's almost funny."[/color] he mused.
