[color=00a99d]"Oh, [i]Sam...[/i]"[/color]  Now Serafina [i]definitely[/i] understood.  She had heard his stories about his grandfather, and she knew that their bond was even closer than hers with her father.  Losing a bond like that, a [i]person[/i] like that... she was a bit surprised he had come back so soon.  Surprised, but glad.

After telling her of his grandfather's death, Serafina was sure that Sam needed comfort.  So she did her best to give it to him, in the form of another hug.  [color=00a99d]"I'm so sorry."[/color]  She whispered, near tears.  It was at times like this that she wished her powers were more useful.  What good would summoning peacocks do at a time like this?  Truly, she felt that her particular power set was the most useless of them all.

Forcefully, Serafina pushed those thoughts away.  She didn't need to think about herself right now.  Sam needed her, and that would always take preference over her own silly needs and wants.  When someone needed her, that's where she was, regardless of her own feelings.  She was almost unable to help someone in need.  It was just part of her nature.
