Suddenly he heard a house alarm go off. "This night just keeps going." He thought as he took off towards the sound. Not being able to go rooftop to rooftop set him back a bit on time. He arrived just as the cops were chasing someone down the road. "That must be the guy." He thought as he raced down the road towards his motorcycle. Something in the store caught his eye, but when he took a second look there was nothing. He shrugged it off and kept running. By the time he got to his motorcycle (Wingmobile? I'm going to stop thinking up names) and got to the road, he saw the cops returning to the scene with someone in the back seat. "They got the guy? Perfect time to call it a night." He though as he saw the soft light of dawn approaching. He headed back to his small loft apartment. He approached through a boarded up back alleyway and parked his bike. He painfully shimmied up the fire escape and entered through the window. He took off his mask and slowly took of his shirt. He examined his ribs and poked them softly. He winched slightly in pain and walked into his bathroom to grab some bandage wraps. "Should heal up just fine." He thought as he bandaged himself. After he was done, he collapsed onto his bed. Suddenly his Titan communicator buzzed to life. He pressed it and a voice came on in his ear. "Robin?" Cyborg's voice said. "Not my name anymore." Dick replied. "Right, Nightwing. How's Bludhaven?" Cyborg asked. "Are you really calling to make small talk?" Dick replied. "No. There's a message for you at Titan Tower." Cyborg replied. "Patch it through." Dick said. There was a long silence. "You don't understand." Cyborg started. "We just got off patrol and B.B. went in your room for SOME REASON!" Dick heard Cyborg yell, probably directing it at Beast Boy. "And he found a red envelope on your bed. None of us placed it there and no alarms were triggered. Since you're the detective we left the scene alone for you to check out." Dick sat up quickly and was already getting dressed and headed out the window when the last thing Cyborg said to him before he disconnected chilled him to the core. "The name Dick Grayson was written on the front."
