To be honest Melon, had you entered text combat a few years earlier you'd have fit in well. Quite a few cynical, British, Uni students held sway for a while. They argued passionately, fought extremely well and usually couldn't be bothered to deal with people who didn't bother to even learn the basics of T1. 

Fights were written well, exciting to read and a win was earned.
