Yes, he was and probably is still better than I am. But you know, we all have people we learn from. People who force us to examine what we are doing and realize there is a better way. A more precise way that makes the writing better and makes the fights worthwhile, elevating you as a writer and fighter. 

On a side note, the lobby is open to anyone at this point. If you are looking to get your feet wet in a brawl, this may be for you. I will be throwing some black hats into the lobby shortly.
