Alice nodded back at the satyr then focused back on her opponent. "Alright, time to show them what I can do," was her last conscious thought before she corrected her posture, left side with the kite shield toward the warg and right side with the iron sword in a position to strike. The beast had gotten up in the meantime and locked eyes with its new opponent. It started pacing from side to side looking for an openning. But the warrior maiden kept her eyes fixed and offered no easy opening for the beast, waiting for the right moment to strike. Alice could tell it wouldn't be too long, the warg was hungry and wanted to be alone to enjoy its feast. But it was the elvish knight's arrow that was the warg's last straw. Eludin may have missed his target and hit the collar, but it was the spark that fully brought on the beast's fury. It charged and lept for the village girl's throat. But her shield and stance was ready for it. Alice caught the warg on her shield, shifted sideways, then undercut into the chest. The warrior maiden then withdrew her blade and the beast fell to the ground, dead. The village girl went to examine the fallen foe to make sure it was indeed dead, in a bit of shock that she had actually killed a warg. In an attempt to appear nonchalant, she asked, "The collar. Who owned this beast?"
