Wolfric was a prince to the werewolves kingdom, his father Adolf was the alpha, who in his rule contributed in many ways to advance his race and continue the prosperous life that they led. They were the strongest kingdom between the the three kingdoms of men and vampires. Adolf had great expectations for his son. Since he was a cub he started teaching him and training him so that one day he can take challenge him and rule the kingdom. Wolfric learned and grew stronger, yet it wasn't his dream to rule the kingdom and be the alpha. But at the same time he didn't want to disappoint his father... When Wolfric matured and was able to lead hunts, as full fledged werewolf prince, he couldn't take it anymore. So he had to confront him and tell his desire to be a wild of the wilds, not an alpha. And he had to do it fast before he has to challenge his father. It was just like he expected, hi father strongly disagreed, yet he offered him a solution if he would defeat him in battle to complete his rite of passage to awaken as an alpha, he would allow him to live the life he wants. It was a long bloody battle between a father and son, under the eyes of all the kingdom. It was epic and it seemed for long that Adolf would win, but just before he landed his final blow to knock Wolfric, something awakened inside Wolfric, it was the inner alpha. It gave him a burst in strength and speed, that he never knew before that allowed him to defend the coming blow, and deliver one of his own that finished the battle... After he left the kingdom, Wolfric was happy free of concerns and responsibilities, but he started hearing rumors in his travels, about some kind of war that will wage between the vampires and the werewolves because of some political disagreements. Some said it will be more like a world war, because the humans will eventually jump in, but on who's side that was something no one knew. Wolfric didn't believe those rumors, he knew that his father wasn't going to allow something like this to happen. But he didn't know is that his father wasn't the alpha king anymore, his sister became the alpha and ruled over the kingdom, and his father was only an old tired wolf, barley able to hunt... After some time, it was no longer a rumor but a fact, he saw the vampire armies marching towards Lyacosura. He decided to return to the kingdom to see what was happening. It was a shock for Wolfric to see that his sister was the alpha, and his father was too old to rule anymore. He didn't agree with the way the kingdom was being ruled, so he had to abandon his free life, for the sake of the wolves. He challenged his sister and won easily over her, which was something she didn't take lightly, and had a deep grudge towards him for that... Wolfric was able to correct the chaos she had caused, and made the vampire army return to their kingdom, and there was peace again. Many years have passed under his rule, and yet he was still craving his free life but his responsibility towards his people was higher than his desires. His sister betrayed the kingdom, and for some reason she made the human and the vampire kingdom their enemies. It was a situation that couldn't be solved with politics, the armies just wanted to destroy the werewolf empire and occupy it. It was war that will be written in history and talked about for centuries to come. The werewolves had to defend attacks from both humans and vampires, even though they were not allies. Even with the battles that Wolfric won, it didn't make any difference because there would be another battle somewhere and lost. The main problem was the vampires they had powerful magic and strength, and they even brought their elders to the war making it hard to be won, even with all the strategies he could think of he couldn't find a solution. It was the last few days that were Wolfric nightmare. When they had to retreat all the way to Lyacosura, few warriors were left, and the rest were just civilians. The battle lasted for a few days mainly because the vampires had to defeat the humans first, so they would capture the werewolf kingdom. The humans retreated back to their kingdom, but even with the blows that the vampires took to their army, they still stood mighty and would have little trouble with the werewolves. The vampires stormed the city gates, and Wolfric charged at them, with whatever warriors left, and he had no choice but to charge at the king who was leading the army. With all the wounds Wolfric sustained from previous battles, he had little to no chance of defeating him, yet he didn't care for his life since it was the only chance to save his people. A tough battle took place, Wolfric offered everything he had and pressured the vampire king to do the same. And in their final moments Wolfric was able to cause a major wound to the king's chest. But that was the last thing he was able to do before he passed out, to wake to the horrible fact. He was a prisoner to the vampires instead of dying, and the rest of werewolves were slaves, it was a feeling he couldn't describe, it was all the he was afraid of happening and the reason he didn't want to become an alpha king. It was mostly shame that he felt, and to make it worse the vampires infected the werewolves with some magic that unable them to change at will. And he was the prize trophy for the king thrown in a dungeon, having nothing to pass the time but the torture they had for him, because they didn't want him to leave his cell or talk to the other wolves, and there he was waiting for a day that he would get his revenge...
