[@Ryuzaki] I think that we need to have the time gate without the need for a pendant, or physical item that a specific character carries/uses. I know that Lucca always had the Gate Key, but she was always with the party. If someone gets separated from the person who can open the gates, then they are stuck, unless it's something that everyone has. 

Of course, if we're all together, all of the time, then we can have the pendant, or gate key, or Raynard's fox curse etc.
