The ride was mostly uneventful, music boomed crudely from poor quality speakers. The occasional rare shot echoing through the sky from the gunners on the roof. On one occasion a loud thud was followed by a bump as the bus run over whatever it hit. As the rag-tag group unloads there were no goodbyes, sympathies or advise from the mercenaries. As soon as everyone was off the bus they were gone and the bus took off leaving behind a cloud of dust and sand. When the dust settles and the bus has faded into the horizon, the view that is left is almost amazing. You stand on a cliff edge overlooking a vast section of the wastelands. Your final destination is not in view but some of the stops are. Behind you is an old decrepit lean-to, a noticeboard and a pack of large vultures that hop around a body laying still in the sand as they peck at it's layered clothing.
