Personality : She is stubborn, determined and doesnt let things go because of her job in law enforcement. But underneath her cold and serious exterior lies a kind and warm heart that would do anything for her friends. She has a strong sense of justice and morality. She is not easily trusting and tries to do everything by herself, making her prone to anger and sadness at her own isolation. She loves to laugh when she is around someone she trusts and cares for. She is a very deep, questioning person and so is not quick to judge others.

History : Varia grew up in New York City with an older brother to rich parents. Her parents died in a car crash when she was 5, leaving her brother to bring her up on his own. The two were inseparable and when her brother moved into a job as a government agent, she too followed in his footsteps. It seemed the thrill of the chase, combat training and a dangerous career helped to keep her mind off the loss of her parents. At the age of 22 she met the astro-physicist Jane Foster before she was sent out to Nevada. Jane was working on something very high profile when Varia was assigned to protect her from rich businessmen who wanted Jane out of the way of their business operations, which her experiments were interfering with. The two became good friends in the three years since. During the appearance of these so called Gods and newly emerged superheroes in the world, Varia learnt of SHIELD. And so she hoped her detective work and ability to take down bad guys will eventually earn her a place within SHIELD.
