Cody saw the green-haired woman break off of her shackles, smack the man away and start chasing after the other woman. Not good.
He bit his thumb nervously. He had no combat magic whatsoever, and his magic could only be used to stop attacks. He also had no combat training at all and-Wait. One. Moment.
She was ATTACKING the woman. Cody sighed deeply before rubbing his temples. His inexperience in such situations almost got the better of him.
[i]"Thank god for my calm head."[/i] Cody thought, taking a deep breath before running out in front of the green-haired woman.
He calmly pointed the palm of his hand at her as she closed in, his shut eyes now suddenly opening as a barrier of magic appeared in front of him.
"Absolute Shield, Activated." He muttered, groaning under the effort of stopping the attack flush on. Sparks flew as he poured more magic into stopping the attack and even after he had, he tumbled back a few steps from the sheer force of the blow.
